Patent
Production of nonrefined forged steel products
TL;DR: In this paper, the steel material is, immediately after hot forging, adjustably cooled to a temperature just above the A 3, at a cooling rate of 0.7 to 15°C/sec.
Patent
Spheroidizing heat treatment method for high carbon- chromium-molybdenum bearing steel
TL;DR: In this article, the spherodize metal carbides in the structure of a high carbon Cr-Mo bearing steel by repeatedly annealing the steel under specific conditions is described.

Steel for railroad wheel with superior wear resistance
TL;DR: In this article, a high carbon steel contg. for a railroad wheel is presented, which has a composition consisting of 0.60-0.80% C, 0.4-1.0% Mn, 1.5-2.5% Nb and a small amount of V and/or Nb.
Patent
Steel for railroad wheel with superior wear resistance and cracking loss resistance
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a steel composition for a railroad wheel used after hardening and tempering the tread, which consists of 0.55-0.80% C, 0.40-1.20% Mn, and the balance essentially Fe. This steel has high strength (hardness, yield strength, tensile strength and fatigue strength) and is remarkably superior to an in-use steel in wear resistance.
