Census: A protocol for visiting all nodes in MANETs using biased random walks.

TL;DR: Census is a gossip style protocol where the random walks of the tokens are assisted by short, local gradients that guide the tokens towards hitherto unvisited nodes, achieving fast convergence while eschewing routing structures such as spanning trees that incur a high messaging overhead to maintain under mobility.

Feature Calibration in Sensor Networks

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose an adaptive, easy, and accurate calibration at the level of application-specific features, via an example of recovering the feature of acoustic signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) that is useful in event-detection applications.
