The present invention relates to a device and a process for purification of grey water. In particular the invention relates to in-home purification of grey water generated from laundry wash and/or rinse liquor for water saving by re-use. Surprisingly it has been found that it is possible to design a device and a process where, by continuous aeration, foam breaking and separation, the laundry wash and rinse water can be made substantially free of surfactants. This water is then preferably filtered to recover fresh water which can be reused for multiple applications.

The objective of the present invention is to obtain an effective defoaming effect by directing a pulsed sound wave generated by shock caused by laser-induced breakdown to a liquid surface using an acoustic waveguide. A reflected wave of the pulsed sound wave generated by shock caused by laser-induced breakdown on an inner circumference face of the acoustic waveguide is directed to an opening part of the acoustic waveguide opposed to the liquid surface, and variations in periods of time in which the reflected wave in each travelling direction arrives at the opening part are reduced.

Defoaming method and defoaming device

The invention discloses a device for eliminating liquid foam in a charging process, and relates to the technical field of foam elimination devices. The device for eliminating the liquid foam in the charging process comprises a slurry tank, a sealing cover, an annular rotating plate, an electric foam removal assembly and a slurry residue pushing assembly, wherein the slurry tank and the sealing cover are matched in a plug-in way; the annular rotating plate and the slurry tank are in sliding fit; the electric foam removal assembly is in normal running fit with the slurry tank; the electric foamremoval assembly comprises a slurry filter sieve and a rotating frame; a waterproof motor is fixedly connected to the bottom part of the slurry filter sieve; and a foam removal support is matched withthe rotating frame in a screw drive way. According to the device for eliminating the liquid foam in the charging process provided by the invention, sieving is carried out through the slurry filter sieve, so that slurry residues are filtered and are pushed out and fed into a slurry residue collecting box through an annular sieve plate; and a waterproof motor drives the rotating frame to rotate, the filtered slurry is rotatably stirred through a screw rotation rod, foams produced by stirring are floated on the surface of the slurry, and a rotating threaded rod rotates to drive the foam removalsupport to move, so that the foams are pricked.

Device for eliminating liquid foam in charging process

The invention relates to a device for reducing foaming and/or for improving degassing of a fermentation medium in a biogas fermenter. The present invention further relates to a method for reducing and preventing foaming and/or for improving the degassing of the fermentation medium in a biogas fermenter by means of a vibration device, and to a biogas fermenter having said vibration device for fighting foaming and/or for improving degassing.

Device for reducing foaming in a biogas fermenter

Provided are a deforming method and device that use laser-induced breakdown. The provided method and device make it possible to shorten the focal distance, thereby improving laser beam convergence, and increase the utilization efficiency of sound waves that contribute to defoaming. Pulsed laser light is focused and irradiated into a space inside an acoustic waveguide (4), thereby generating pulsed sound waves from the illumination point (7). The pulsed sound waves propagate down the acoustic waveguide as plane waves, then propagate beyond an open end (16) as spherical waves, and break up a foam outside the open end of the acoustic wave guide.
