The invention provides a steering column installing structure. The structure comprises a lower installing plate surrounding a dash board stiffening beam main pipe, an upper installing plate located at one side of the dash board stiffening beam main pipe and a front wall connecting plate located at the other side of the dash board stiffening beam main pipe; the front wall connecting plate and the lower installing plate are arranged at an included angle, and a support plate is arranged between the front wall connecting plate and the lower installing plate; through multiple staggered welding beads, the upper installing plate, the lower installing plate and the front wall connecting plate are fixedly connected with the dash board stiffening beam main pipe, the upper installing plate is fixedly connected with the lower installing plate, and the support plate is fixedly connected with the lower installing plate and the front wall connecting plate. Through the steering column installing structure, the stability of the installing structure arranged on the dash board stiffening beam main pipe can be ensured; a front wall can support the installing structure and absorb exciting force exerted on the installing structure, thus the structure strength and stability of the installing structure are improved, and all parts can be connected fully, and accordingly the structure strength and stability of the whole installing structure are improved.

Vibration-proof structure

The invention provides a steering support member arrangement. An element that connects a vehicle body and a steering support member is formed by two parts in order to increase the support stiffness of the steering support member and absorb energy of an external load in a collision efficiently and stably. The steering support member is arranged in a vehicle transverse direction and connected to a vehicle body at a vehicle front side via a connecting member. In the steering support member arrangement, the connecting member is configured to arrange a first reinforcer and a second reinforcer to be overlapped when viewed from above the vehicle, the first reinforcer linearly extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction and is connected to the steering support member, and the second reinforcer is fixed to the first reinforcer at a front and rear position of the vehicle; and weakened portions that are arranged at a distance in the vehicle longitudinal direction and involve low stiffness in the vehicle transverse direction are provided on the first reinforcer and between fixing portions between the first reinforcer and the second reinforcer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support bracket for a steering which secures static rigidity and impact absorption ability.SOLUTION: A support bracket 19 for a steering includes: a fitting part 25 which is attached to a beam main body; a steering support part 26 which supports a steering device; and a vehicle body side connecting part 27 which protrudes to the opposite side of the steering support part 26 at the fitting part 25 and is connected with a vehicle body side member at a tip side. The vehicle body side connecting part 27 includes: a connecting part main body 43 which is connected to the vehicle body side member; and an impact absorbing part 42 located between the connecting part main body 43 and the fitting part 25. Support member for steering

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate vertical vibration generated while idling, and forward-backward vibration generated while traveling. SOLUTION: A steering column support structure comprises a steering column stay 5 to connect a steering hanger 2 extended in the car body width direction for supporting a steering column to a dashboard lower panel 4 ahead of it. At a forward end of a main body part 31 of the steering column stay, a mounting part 22 to a dashboard panel is formed through a bent plate part 27 having a roughly L-shaped cross section. The bent plate part is deformable in the plate thickness direction to allow relative rotation between the mounting part and the main body part to follow forward-backward vibration of the dashboard panel.
