A single-lens reflex camera with a flash unit built into the camera body above the viewing pentaprism. The unit is movable from an operating position to a non-operating position, preferably enclosed in the camera body. The built-in flash unit may be automatically closed by inserting an external flash in a flash shoe. A display panel may be included on the top of the flash unit housing.

A reflector assembly for use with an electronic device includes a light guiding member forming a light-guiding passage having a light guide assembly in the form of a plurality of lens assembled therein, the light guiding member is assembled in an electronic device having a display window formed in the front surface and a camera module formed in the back surface. An end of the light guiding member aligns with the camera module, the other end of the light guiding member extends to the front surface of the electronic device, outside lights can enter into light-guiding passage and be reflected by the lenses and reach to the camera module.

A ring flash adapter (2) of the flash uses a clamping device (14) attached to the external flash (3) of the camera (15),. and using the lightguide (1), the light can be transmitted from the flash (3) into the circular body (21). The lightguide has a flat circle and a head (7) with an incidence surface (8) and a reflecting surface (9). The lightguide also has an even number of separate, parallel, inter-connected shaped belt segments (10, 10') inserted in the head. The frontside of the circle forms an emission surface (5); the rear side is provided with a system of 'V' shaped teeth (6) to reflect light on the emission surface.

A diffuser-reflector assembly for use with a photographic flash lamp (800) comprises, in one aspect, an elastic base (100) having rigid first inserts (125 and 130), two arms (105 and 110), a shaft (135), a pivot assembly (150), and one or more frames (116, 121) that hold second inserts (115, 120). The diffuser-reflector assembly installs slidably onto the light- emitting end of a flash lamp (800). The second inserts can have various optical properties. They can be specular or diffuse reflectors, color or neutral density filters, or a combination. The frames and inserts can be swung on the arms and independently pivoted over a wide range of angles above the lamp, thereby providing a wide range of lighting effects. The frames and arms are held in place by friction and can be adjusted by manual force. The entire assembly can be made of simple parts that snap together.

Compact, steerable, multidirectional photographic light diffuser and reflector

A diffusion device for a flash gun is provided in the form of a translucent box-like structure which fits on the end of a commercial flash gun. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, opaque shields are provided for the front and back of the diffusion device which can be selectively added or removed to produce special effects. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, a slot is provided in the top of the diffusion device for retaining a reflector.

A clamp for a flash gun is provided which can be slipped on and off the gun and which has a slot therein whereby a bounce-flash reflector can be retained in said slot. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, a second, opposed slot is provided so that one slot is adapted to retain a reflector and the opposite slot is adapted to retain a diffuser.
