Journal ArticleDOI
Carbonic anhydrase IX in tumor tissue and sera of patients with primary cervical cancer
Linn Woelber,Kerstin Kress,Jan Felix Kersten,Matthias Choschzick,Ergin Kilic,Uwe Herwig,Christoph Lindner,J. Schwarz,Fritz Jaenicke,Sven Mahner,Karin Milde-Langosch,Volkmar Mueller,M. Ihnen +12 more
TL;DR: CAIX is associated with advanced tumor stages and lymph node metastases in cervical cancer, potentially representing a new target in this disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relevance of activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule (ALCAM) in tumor tissue and sera of cervical cancer patients
M. Ihnen,Kerstin Kress,Jan Felix Kersten,Ergin Kilic,Matthias Choschzick,Hilke Zander,Volkmar Müller,Sven Mahner,Fritz Jänicke,Linn Woelber,Karin Milde-Langosch +10 more
TL;DR: The data of this retrospective study suggest that the prognostic value of A LCAM expression in cervical carcinoma might be therapy-dependent, and that ALCAM might function as a predictive marker for the response to chemoradiation.
Posted ContentDOI
Amylase depletion significantly improves the maldi-tof profile of saliva-application to covid-19 diagnostics
Zane LaCasse,Prajkta Satish Chivte,Kerstin Kress,Venkata Devesh Reddy Seethi,Joshua B. Bland,Hamed Alhoori,Shrihari S. Kadkol,Emeline Gaillard +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used a device to deplete salivary amylase from water-gargle samples through affinity adsorption, which led to the enhancement of signal intensities of various peaks as well as the detection of previously unobserved peaks in the MALDI-ToF spectra.
