Magnetic nanosized rare earth iron garnets R 3 Fe 5 O 12 : Sol-gel fabrication, characterization and reinspection

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic nanosized rare earth iron garnets (R3Fe5O12), where R=Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu) were prepared by an aqueous sol-gel method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sol-gel synthesis, structural, morphological and magnetic properties of BaTiO3–BiMnO3 solid solutions

TL;DR: In this paper, solid solutions of (1-x)BaTiO3-xBiMnO3 have been synthesized by an aqueous sol-gel method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fe and Zn co-substituted beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP): Synthesis, structural, magnetic, mechanical and biological properties

TL;DR: All co-substituted samples revealed paramagnetic behavior, magnetization of powders was determined to be linearly dependent on concentration of Fe3+ ions, and Cytotoxicity of the synthesized species was estimated by in vivo assay and revealed non-toxic nature of the samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of gadolinium substitution effects in hexagonal yttrium manganite YMnO3

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of gadolinium substitution on the properties of yttrium manganite was investigated using Mossbauer spectroscopy, and it was demonstrated that substitution of Y3+ by Gd3+ ions leads to the changes of structural, magnetic and morphological properties of investigated system.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Facile Synthesis and Characterization of Highly Crystalline Submicro-Sized BiFeO3

TL;DR: It was demonstrated that the optimal annealing temperature for the preparation of highly-pure BFO is 650 °C, and the formation of neighboring crystal phases was observed at lower or higher temperatures.
