Journal ArticleDOI
Optical Properties of Buffers and Cell Culture Media for Optofluidic and Sensing Applications
Van Thuy Hoang,Grzegorz Stepniewski,Karolina H. Czarnecka,Rafal Kasztelanic,Van Cao Long,Khoa Dinh Xuan,Li-Yang Shao,Mateusz Śmietana,Ryszard Buczynski +8 more
TL;DR: This work investigated the transmission, material dispersion, and scattering properties of selected and widely used buffers and cell culture media and shows that the optical properties of these media may significantly vary from those of water.
Journal ArticleDOI
All-normal dispersion supercontinuum generation in photonic crystal fibers with large hollow cores infiltrated with toluene
Van Thuy Hoang,Rafal Kasztelanic,Alicja Anuszkiewicz,Grzegorz Stepniewski,Adam Filipkowski,Slawomir Ertman,Dariusz Pysz,Tomasz R. Wolinski,Khoa Dinh Xuan,Mariusz Klimczak,Ryszard Buczynski +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, an all-normal dispersion supercontinuum generation in the range of 950 ÷ 1100 nm in photonic crystal fiber with core infiltrated with toluene is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Supercontinuum generation in photonic crystal fibres with core filled with toluene
Lanh Chu Van,Alicja Anuszkiewicz,Aliaksandr Ramaniuk,Rafal Kasztelanic,Khoa Dinh Xuan,Van Cao Long,Marek Trippenbach,Ryszard Buczynski +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a photonic crystal fiber with hollow core filled with toluene is considered as a new system for coherent supercontinuum generation, and the dispersion characteristics are studied for various geometrical parameters of photonic fiber fibres.
Journal ArticleDOI
Supercontinuum generation in an all-normal dispersion large core photonic crystal fiber infiltrated with carbon tetrachloride
Van Thuy Hoang,Rafal Kasztelanic,Adam Filipkowski,Grzegorz Stepniewski,Dariusz Pysz,Mariusz Klimczak,Slawomir Ertman,Van Cao Long,Tomasz R. Wolinski,Marek Trippenbach,Khoa Dinh Xuan,Mateusz Śmietana,Ryszard Buczynski +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a hollow core photonic crystal fiber (PCF) infiltrated with carbon tetrachloride is used to generate all-normal dispersion supercontinuum in a broadband range (0.8-1.7 µm) varying from -150 to 0 ps/nm/km.
