Journal ArticleDOI

Cardiac and adipose tissue abnormalities but not diabetes in mice deficient in GLUT4.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that functional GLUT4 protein is not required for maintaining nearly normal glycaemia but that GLLJT4 is absolutely essential for sustained growth, normal cellular glucose and fat metabolism, and expected longevity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Arrest of spermatogenesis and defective breast development in mice lacking A-myb.

TL;DR: It is reported here that mice homozygous for a germline mutation in A-myb develop to term but show defects in growth after birth and male infertility due to a block in spermatogenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Expression of myc-family, myc-interacting, and myc-target Genes During Preimplantation Mouse Development

TL;DR: In this article, the temporal patterns of expression of four members of the myc gene family, genes encoding myc-associated proteins, and four putative MYC target genes were determined.
