A load cell includes a strain inducing element having a fixed rigid body fixedly secured to a base support, and a plurality of transverse beams spaced one above the other and connecting the fixed and movable rigid bodies together. Each of the transverse beams has first and second strain generating areas defined therein in spaced relation to each other at respective locations adjacent the fixed and movable rigid bodies. A bridge circuit for outputting a load signal of a magnitude proportional to strains generated at the strain generating areas includes strain gauges for detecting the strains generated at the strain generating areas, adjusting elements for adjusting a balance of the bridge circuit, and lines connecting them together. A circuit portion of the bridge circuit which includes at least the strain gauge and some of the lines is formed in a predetermined pattern on one surface of the strain inducing element so as to straddle between the first and second strain generating areas. Not only is the circuit portion symmetrical with respect to a point intermediate between the first and second strain generating areas, but also the strain inducing element has left and right portions, including the fixed and movable rigid bodies, which are symmetrical to each other.

The carriers are compression molded granular carriers of the anhydrous potassium compd. such as potassium carbonate having 150W600μ, more preferably 200W600μ average grain sizes of raw powder prior to compression molding, havinng grain size distributions in the range of 1W15wt%, more preferably 2W10% powder of 600μ grain sizes and having 22W 38%, more preferably 26W33% volume ratio of pores and 1.5W15kg/cm 2 -G compressive strength. PURPOSE:To allow the system to cope with plural service areas through the use of a call signal with an excellent transmission efficiency without need of a time slot for an area designation signal by making arithmetic operation to a designation signal, an individual identification signal and a message signal with special logic so as to generate a call signal and to send it. CONSTITUTION:Base stations 20, 21 includes a processing section 25 as a means for applying arithmetic operation to a designation signal, an individual identification signal and a message signal with a special logic and designating the result as a call signal, and some call signals including the individual identification signal are subjected to error correction coding, and processed by the area designation signal and the call signal subjected to arithmetic processing is sent following a frame synchronizing signal. Receivers X, Y include a number ROM 8 storing a preset designation signal and an inverse processing section 10 as a means for executing arithmetic operation to the received call signal and the area designation signal read from the number ROM with inverse logic to the specific logic. Thus, when the area designation signals do not match, the receivers X, Y cannot be called.

CONSTITUTION:A projection 6 is provided on the stationary strut part 1 of the main body of a load cell. The substrate 8 of a flexible printed circuit board 7 is secured on the projection 6. Strain gauges 5 fitted on the thin parts 3 of vertically moved arms 4 are bridge-connected to the substrate 8 of the flexible printed circuit board 7 through arm parts 9 and soft connecting parts 10. A temperature characteristic compensation resistor, bridge balance compensation resistor, etc. are provided on the substrate 8. A compensation circuit can be easily adjusted by cutting the part of the pattern of such a resistor.
