Synthesis of n-(jasmonoyl)amino acid conjugates
TL;DR: In this paper, both racemic jasmonic acid and the naturally occurring (-)-enantiomer [(-)-JA have been reacted with aliphatic, aromatic as well as acidic amino acids to form amide-linked derivatives.
Journal ArticleDOI
(+)-7-Iso-jasmonic acid and related compounds from botryodiplodia theobromae
TL;DR: Metabolites produced by Botryodiplodia theobromae possessing plant growth regulating activities were shown to be the 7-epimer of jasmonic acid and its derivatives.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nicotianamine, a possible phytosiderophore of general occurrence
Miloš Buděšínský,Herbert Budzikiewicz,Želimǐr Procházka,Helmut Ripperger,A. Römer,Günter Scholz,Klaus Schreiber +6 more
TL;DR: Nicotianamine has an optimal molecular structure for chelating iron ions and is considered a possible phytosiderophore with an essential function in cellular iron transport and/or metabolism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nicotianamine and Analogous Amino Acids, Endogenous Iron Carriers in Higher Plants
Klaus Schreiber,Helmut Ripperger +1 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Occurrence of jasmonic acid analogues in Vicia faba
TL;DR: Three structurally related cyclopentanoidal C 12 -acids have been isolated from immature fruits of Vicia faba and identified as (−)-9,10-dihydrojasmonic acid, 3,7-didehydrojasMonic acid and (+)-6- epi -7- iso -cucurbic acid.
