Journal ArticleDOI
Sessile serrated adenoma with early neoplastic progression: a clinicopathologic and molecular study.
Kohei Fujita,Hidetaka Yamamoto,Takayuki Matsumoto,Minako Hirahashi,Masaki Gushima,Junji Kishimoto,Kenichi Nishiyama,Tomoaki Taguchi,Takashi Yao,Yoshinao Oda +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the role of p53, β-catenin, BRAF, KRAS, and PIK3CA in the development and progression of sessile serrated polyps.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinicopathological features of primary leiomyosarcoma of the gastrointestinal tract following recognition of gastrointestinal stromal tumours.
Hidetaka Yamamoto,Mizuki Handa,Taro Tobo,Nokitaka Setsu,Kohei Fujita,Yumi Oshiro,Yumi Mihara,Yasuji Yoshikawa,Yoshinao Oda +8 more
TL;DR: This work aimed to elucidate the clinicopathological and immunohistochemical features of leiomyosarcoma of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mucin core protein expression in serrated polyps of the large intestine
Kohei Fujita,Minako Hirahashi,Hidetaka Yamamoto,Takayuki Matsumoto,Masaki Gushima,Yoshinao Oda,Junji Kishimoto,Takashi Yao,Mitsuo Iida,Masazumi Tsuneyoshi +9 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that determination of mucin core protein expression is insufficient for differentiating SSAs from other types of serrated polyps, and that microvesicular-type HPs of the right colon and SSAs may belong to the same mucin spectrum.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solitary rectal metastasis from renal cell carcinoma treated by endoscopic resection.
TL;DR: A 61-year-old Japanese man was referred to the authors' hospital for treatment of left renal cell carcinoma (RCC) with lung and ymph node metastases, and a histological examination indicated the diagnosis of clear cell arcinoma, which was diagnosed as rectal metastasis of RCC.
Book ChapterDOI
Case Presentations: Protrusion with Ulcer
Sadahiro Funakoshi,Takao Kanemitsu,Noritaka Takatsu,Masashi Yamaguchi,Shotaro Nakamura,Takayuki Matsumoto,Haruhiko Takahashi,Kohei Fujita +7 more
TL;DR: An elevated lesion with a coarse nodular surface occupying around half the circumference of the lumen was present 120 cm distal to the ligament of Treitz.
