Anode for electrochemical reaction

TL;DR: In this article, an anode for electrochemical reactions, such as electrolysis and electrodeposition, comprising a titanium substrate covered with metal oxide, was described, in which the amount of platinum group element(s) is decreased in comparison with the ordinary anode of P oxides so as to decrease the cost and mitigate the problem of natural resources, and further, durability of the anode is improved.
Journal ArticleDOI

XPS analysis of amorphous NiNbSnPt alloy catalysts for electro-oxidation of formaldehyde

TL;DR: In this article, the surface layer was rich in platinum and deficient in nickel, but the surface concentration of these elements decreased continuously with increasing tin content, and the binding energies of platinum 4f and nickel 2 p 3 2 electrons of the metallic state exhibited almost no change with alloy tin content.
Journal ArticleDOI

Amorphous FeCrMo13P7C alloys unsusceptible to hydrogen embrittlement in deaerated solutions of different pH

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of chromium and molybdenum contents on the susceptibility to hydrogen embrittlement in deaerated solutions of different pH at 40°C was investigated.

Corrosion-resistant amorphous alloy

TL;DR: Highly corrosion-resistant amorphous nickel alloy comprising 15-80 atom% of tantalum and, according to choice, a specific proportion of one or more other elements, namely titanium, zirconium, niobium and tungsten as mentioned in this paper.
