Correlation and Path Analysis Studies in Popular Rice Hybrids of India

TL;DR: In this paper, the correlation and path analysis in twenty one popular hybrids of rice (Oryza sativa L) was carried out, and character association of the yield attributing traits revealed significantly positive association of grain yield per plant with number of productive tillers per plant.

Genetic Variability Studies for Qualitative and Quantitative traits in Popular Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Hybrids of India

TL;DR: The characters viz., number of filled grains per panicle and water uptake exhibited high heritability coupled with high genetic advance indicating that simple selection could be effective for improving these characters.

Evaluation of Popular Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Hybrids for Quantitative, Qualitative and Nutritional Aspects

TL;DR: Genotypic differences in grain quality including protein, micronutrient concentrations and few of the yield attributing parameters of twenty one popular rice hybrids were assessed and revealed huge variations ingrain quality among the hybrids.
