Journal ArticleDOI

A new method of determination of indoor temperature and relative humidity with consideration of human thermal comfort

TL;DR: In this paper, a new method is described for selecting indoor temperature and indoor relative humidity to achieve minimum energy consumption for a required indoor thermal comfort level which is evaluated with indoor effective temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of outdoor air parameters on energy consumption with heat-pipe used in air-handling unit

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the influence of outdoor air parameters on energy-saving capability in an air-conditioned building with heatpipe used in airconditioning processes and found that the sensible heat recovered by heatpipe is related to the outdoor wet-bulb temperature and to the temperature difference of outdoor dry-b and wet-b temperatures.
