The invention discloses a method for preparing a transparent and heat-insulating PC sun board. The method comprises the following steps: (1) treating the surface of the PC sun board with alkaline solution; (2) uniformly coating ATO-based transparent and heat-insulating coating to the surface of the PC sun board which is treated by the alkaline solution; and (3) curing to obtain the transparent and heat-insulating PC sun board. The method can effectively improve the adhesion and hardness of the ATO transparent and heat-insulating coating on the surface of the PC sun board to ensure that the PC sun board has excellent transparent and heat-insulating performance.
