Differentiation of lard and other animal fats based on triacylglycerols composition and principal component analysis.
TL;DR: In this article, the composition of triacylglycerol (TAG) for the differentiation of lard and other animal fats (beef, mutton, and chicken fats) as well as cod liver oil (CLO) has been investigated using high performance liquid chromatography with refractive index detector.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gas and humidity sensing with quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) coated with graphene-based materials – A mini review
TL;DR: In this article, the authors summarize the recent progress on QCM gas sensors and QCM humidity sensors based on graphene materials and graphene composites, and the challenges for future works related to the development of QCM sensors coated by graphene materials or graphene composite materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of lard in meatball broth using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and chemometrics.
TL;DR: FTIR spectroscopy coupled with chemometrics can be used for quantitative analysis and classification of lard in meatball broth for Halal verification studies and is simple in operation, rapid and not involving extensive sample preparation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solvent vapor treatment improves mechanical strength of electrospun polyvinyl alcohol nanofibers.
TL;DR: This study shows that solvent vapor treatment offers a simple and inexpensive method that provides excellent results and is a promising alternative treatment for use in increasing the mechanical properties of electrospun nanofibers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on Photocatalytic Properties of TiO2 Nanoparticle in various pH condition
TL;DR: In this article, the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nanoparticles was investigated for the degradation of methylene blue under UV light in various pH condition, and the results showed that the degradation was not due to UV light but it was due to adsorption of Methylene blue by TiO 2 nanoparticles.
