Adaptive filtering prediction and control

TL;DR: This unified survey focuses on linear discrete-time systems and explores the natural extensions to nonlinear systems and summarizes the theoretical and practical aspects of a large class of adaptive algorithms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Brief paper: Stochastic adaptive control using a modified least squares algorithm

TL;DR: It is shown that, with probability one, the algorithm will ensure that the system inputs and outputs are sample mean square bounded and the mean square output tracking error achieves its global minimum possible value for linear feedback control.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identifiability conditions for Continuous Time Linear Closed Loop Systems

TL;DR: In this paper, necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the identifiability of open loop transfer functions for linear continuous time systems operating in closed loop, and it is shown that provided certain structural properties are assumed, it is sufficient and sufficient that the joint input-output spectral density be block diagonal when evaluated at infinity.
