High temperature performance of dispersion-strengthened AlTi alloys prepared by mechanical alloying

TL;DR: In this article, the compressive strength and the yield strength of dispersion-strengthened Al-Ti alloys were investigated by the mechanical alloying process and hot consolidation method, and their high temperature mechanical properties and oxidation properties were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and optimization of nano-porous La0.6Sr0.4CoO3−δ on the oxygen separation membrane

TL;DR: In this paper, nano-porous LSC particles were synthesized with an increased surface area through the addition of a polymer on ultrasonic spray pyrolysis to improve the oxygen permeation flux.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of V or Zr addition on the mechanical properties of the mechanically alloyed Al-8wt% Ti alloys

TL;DR: The thermal stability of the MA Al-Ti alloy was improved by the addition of V or Zr as discussed by the authors, which is attributed to the retarded coarsening of the dispersoid phases due to the improved coherency between dispersoid phase and the Al-matrix in the presence of alloying elements V and Zr.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of V and Zr addition on lattice parameters of Al3Ti phase in mechanically alloyed Al-8wt.%Ti alloys

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated whether Al[sub 3]Ti dispersoids could be transformed to more stable phases by the addition of vanadium or zirconium as a third alloying element to Al-8wt.%Ti alloys, through the mechanical alloying process.
