Journal ArticleDOI
Aerobic nitrification-denitrification by heterotrophic Bacillus strains.
TL;DR: It has been found that the Bacillus strains were able to occur simultaneously aerobic nitrification/denitrification and the B3 process using the Bacilli strains seemed to possess some economic advantages.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characteristics Of A Water-Purification System Using Immobilized Photosynthetic Bacteria Beads
TL;DR: The water-purification system was effective to remove nitrogenous compounds with better survival of goldfish and PVA gel beads showed almost the full denitrifying ability even after the long-term experiment.

Journal ArticleDOI
Isolation, identification and characterization of an immobilized bacterium producing n 2 from nh 4 + under an aerobic condition
Kyoung Joo Park,Kyoung Sook Cho,Jeong Bo Kim,Min Gyu Lee,Byung Hun Lee,Young Ki Hong,Joong Kyun Kim +6 more
TL;DR: Under all the optimum reaction conditions, production by the immobilized isolate resulted in reduction of ORP with both the consumption of DO and the drop of pH, suggesting a viable alternative to the nitrification-denitrification processes.
