Journal ArticleDOI

Cold atmospheric plasma activity on microorganisms. A study on the influence of the treatment time and surface

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of low-temperature plasma production with a large area and acquiring the necessary knowledge and understanding the relevant interaction mechanisms of plasma species with microorganisms are investigated at the Demokritos Plasma Laboratory in Athens, Greece with radio frequency (27.12 MHz and integer harmonics)-driven sub-atmospheric pressure plasma (100 Pa).
Journal ArticleDOI

Electron drift caused by rf field gradient creates many plasma phenomena: An attempt to distinguish the cause and the effect

TL;DR: In this article, a classification about the causality of the phenomena is attempted; the rf field gradient electron drift is proved to be the initial cause, and the electron-neutral collision frequency effect on the other plasma parameters and quantities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Generalization of the perturbation theory by using a repeating equation: A case that reveals the plasma chaotic state

TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical solution ended in a relation between drift and perturbed velocities, which presupposes the perturbed velocity value to be very small in comparison with the drift velocity.
