TL;DR: In this article, a method for determining small quantities of gold in the range 0.30 μg was developed for determination of antimony with rhodamine B. Owing to the stability of the higher valency of gold no oxidation stage is required; extraction of the complex is only satisfactory with isopropyl ether.
