Non-stoichiometric surface behaviour of LaMO3 oxides as evidenced by XPS

TL;DR: In this article, the non-stoichiometry of the surface of LaMO3 perovskites was found to be much more marked than that in the bulk than that of LaCrO3 to LaNiO3.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface behaviour of reduced LaCoO3 as studied by TPD of CO, CO2 and H2 probes and by XPS

TL;DR: The surface interactions of CO, CO2 and H2 with perovskite-type oxide LaCoO3 as a function of the reduction temperature have been studied by means of XPS and TPD spectroscopies as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Catalytic activity of perovskite-type oxides LaMeO3

TL;DR: In this article, the relation between local symmetry of solid surfaces and chemisorption and catalysis was discussed, and Maxima for Mn3+ and Co3+ were found.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface properties of LaNiO3: Kinetic studies of reduction and of oxygen adsorption

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the kinetics of reduction and oxygen adsorption on LaNiO 3 in a wide range of temperatures and showed that the reduction in step (a) takes place according to the contracting sphere model while reduction in stage (b) is controlled by formation and growth of reduction nuclei.
