Journal Article
Viewpoint: Polariton Fluids for Optical Logic
TL;DR: Laser control of polariton current offers a new range of devices for all-optical logic circuits as mentioned in this paper, which can be used to control all-in-one (AIO) circuits.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rabi splitting and photonic modes in laterally patterned microcavities
TL;DR: In this article, the optical properties and local electromagnetic fields of a 3/2 λ planar microcavity, with a 1D dielectric grating at one of the antinodes, are computed in the semiclassical framework and in the effective mass approximation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optical properties of Ga1−xInxAs/GaAs(001) quantum well superlattices: Exciton and polariton dispersion curves
TL;DR: In this article, a variational envelope function for the superlattices of Ga1−xInxAs/GaAs(001) quantum wells (SLQWs) was computed using Luttinger Hamiltonian and accurate envelope functions, and the results were discussed for the case of exciton energies far from the photonic gaps.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spin-dependent polariton–polariton scattering in planar microcavities
Laura Pilozzi,Mikhail M. Glazov,Henni Ouerdane,Guillaume Malpuech,Alexey Kavokin,Alexey Kavokin,A. D'Andrea +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a microscopic theory of polariton-polariton scattering in quantum microcavities is presented with allowance for the composite nature of polaritons, and analytical estimations of the effective scattering rate for PP scattering with parallel spin configuration are presented.
