The present world scenario demands the usage of natural fibers from agricultural and
forest byproducts as a reinforcement material for fiber reinforced composites. Natural fibers can be
easily extracted from plants and animals. Recently natural fiber in nanoscale is preferred over micro
and macro scale fibers due to its superior thermo-mechanical properties. However, the choice

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite material unit (800) comprising a fibre composition, wherein the fibre composition comprises a plurality of conductive fibres and a meltable element. The method comprises the acts of: forming a first flexible layer and a second flexible layer from the fibre composition, assembling a surface of the first flexible layer with a surface of the second flexible layer, shaping the assembled first and second flexible layers, and thereafter putting the conductive fibres in a conductive state so that the meltable element is put in a melting state, and letting the first flexible layer and the second flexible layer assume a rigid structure. An electrically insulating pressboard laminate comprises at least two electrically insulating pressboards laminated on each other and a hot melt adhesive film with one or more through holes. The hot melt adhesive film is arranged between at least two adjacent pressboards of the at least two electrically insulating pressboards. The invention provides a preparation method for nano-TiO2 modified cellulose insulating paper. The preparation method comprises the following steps of 1, preparing pulp suspension liquid, 2, preparing nano-TiO2 solution, 3, mixing the nano-TiO2 and the pulp together, and 4, the forming and press polishing the insulating paper. According to the preparation method for the nano-TiO2 modified cellulose insulating paper, nano-TiO2 particles are added to modify insulating paper, the nano-TiO2 particles are closely combined with cellulose, and therefore the power frequency breakdown filed strength of the insulating paper is improved and the tensile strength is unchanged. The modified insulating paper has the advantages of being simple in formula, low in nanometer packing cost, simple in preparation method and easy to operate.
