TL;DR: In this paper , a review article highlights the production of this biomaterial and its applications in the field of electronics, including the production and optimization of new equipment, medical devices, sensors, transformers and motors.
Book ChapterDOI
Natural and Microbial Biosurfactants’ Use in the Food Industry
TL;DR: Sophorolipids are microbial glycolipids that are derived from certain benign yeast species in yields reportedly as high as 400 g/L as mentioned in this paper, which imparts a natural detergency to the molecule which can be exploited in dishwashing, fabric and other detergents.
