A fast algorithm for 3D azimuthally anisotropic velocity scan

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a fast algorithm for 3D azimuthally anisotropic velocity scan by generalizing the previously proposed 2D butterfly algorithm for hyperbolic Radon transforms.

Synchrosqueezed Curvelet Transform for 2D Mode Decomposition

TL;DR: In this paper, the synchrosqueezed curvelet transform (SCT) is proposed as an optimal tool for 2D mode decomposition of wavefronts or banded wave-like components.

Fast Directional Computation for the High Frequency Helmholtz Kernel in Two Dimensions

TL;DR: The main observation is that, for two regions that follow a directional parabolic geometric configuration, the interaction between the points in these two regions through the Helmholtz kernel is approximately low rank.

Stable factorization for phase factors of quantum signal processing

Lexing Ying
- 06 Feb 2022 -
TL;DR: In this paper , a new factorization algorithm for computing the phase factors of quantum signal processing is proposed, which avoids root finding of high degree polynomials by using a key step of Prony's method and is numerically stable in the double precision arithmetics.
