Chlorogenic Acid Alleviates Aβ 25-35 -Induced Autophagy and Cognitive Impairment via the mTOR/TFEB Signaling Pathway

TL;DR: CGA treatment restored autophagic flux in the brain and alleviated cognitive impairments in APP/PS1 mice via enhanced activation of the mTOR/TFEB signaling pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chlorogenic acid enhances autophagy by upregulating lysosomal function to protect against SH‑SY5Y cell injury induced by H 2 O 2

TL;DR: In this paper, a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) injury cell model was established using SH-SY5Y cells and the influence of chlorogenic acid on cell viability was evaluated using a Cell Counting Kit-8 assay and cell death was assessed using Hoechst 33342 nuclear staining.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ligustilide alleviates neurotoxicity in SH-SY5Y cells induced by Aβ 25-35 via regulating endoplasmic reticulum stress and autophagy

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Ligustilide significantly decreased the rate of apoptosis, and improved the viability of cells, and could rescue lysosomal function to promote autophagy flux and inhibit the over‐activation of ERS.
