Journal ArticleDOI
Recent Progress in Polymer Solar Cells: Manipulation of Polymer:Fullerene Morphology and the Formation of Efficient Inverted Polymer Solar Cells
TL;DR: In this article, a review of polymer morphology is presented with respect to solvent selection and various annealing processes, which facilitates the formation of optimal percolation paths and therefore provides a simple approach to improve photovoltaic performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low-temperature solution processing of graphene-carbon nanotube hybrid materials for high-performance transparent conductors.
Vincent Tung,Li-Min Chen,Matthew J. Allen,Jonathan K. Wassei,K. S. Nelson,Richard B. Kaner,Yang Yang +6 more
TL;DR: Preliminary experiments in chemical doping are presented and show that optimization of this material is not limited to improvements in layer morphology, and that this technology is inexpensive, is massively scalable, and does not suffer from several shortcomings of indium tin oxide.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bandgap and Molecular Energy Level Control of Conjugated Polymer Photovoltaic Materials Based on Benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene
TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on the synthesis of conjugated polymers with different conjugation units and their photovoltaic performance and tune the bandgap and molecular energy level control.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vertical Phase Separation in Poly(3‐hexylthiophene): Fullerene Derivative Blends and its Advantage for Inverted Structure Solar Cells
Zheng Xu,Li-Min Chen,Guanwen Yang,Chun Hao Huang,Jianhui Hou,Yue Wu,Gang Li,Chain-Shu Hsu,Yang Yang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the vertical phase separation of spin-coated poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT):fullerene derivative blends was investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
