A state-space model for multivariate longitudinal count data

TL;DR: In this paper, a non-stationary state space model for multivariate longitudinal count data driven by a latent gamma Markov process is proposed, where the Poisson counts are assumed to be conditionally independent given the latent process.
Journal ArticleDOI

State‐space models for multivariate longitudinal data of mixed types

TL;DR: In this article, a class of state-space models for multivariate longitudinal data where the components of the response vector may have different distributions is proposed, based on the class of Tweedie exponential dispersion models, which accommodates a wide variety of discrete, continuous and mixed data.
Journal ArticleDOI

A longitudinal study of emergency room visits and air pollution for Prince George, British Columbia

TL;DR: The main objective of the investigation was to examine the relationship between air pollution and respiratory morbidity, taking into account seasonality and meteorological conditions, and found that total reduced sulphur significantly influences the expected number of emergency room visits.

Measuring tail risk at high-frequency: An $L_1$-regularized extreme value regression approach with unit-root predictors

TL;DR: In this paper , a dynamic extreme value regression model is proposed to capture the time-varying behavior of the distribution of high-frequency extreme losses. But the model is not suitable for the case of large-scale stocks.
