Low-temp. infrared optical system

TL;DR: In this article, the utility model of a low temperature infrared optical system is described, where the bottom of a concave primary mirror is an elastic bottom edge, a basal plate is grid-shaped, a convex secondary mirror is fixed on a plane which is determined by at least three support rods of a bracket, the plane is parallel with the basal plate, and the natural frequency of the bracket is larger than the excitation frequency.

Super-shortened optic system lens hood

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a utility model for an ultra-short optical system light shield, which can reduce one time scattering generated by visual field light ray which directly radiates a primary mirror, and reduce the constructional dimension of the light shield.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Manufacturing of optical elements of a cryogenic optical system

TL;DR: In this paper, an all-reflective cryogenic optical system was developed in IOECAS, in which aluminum alloy was utilized to make such a system, and the key techniques for manufacturing this system: material selection, forging process of the aluminum alloy blanks, initial machining, heat treatments, and final figuring.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Cryogenic test of an all-aluminum infrared optical system

TL;DR: In this article, an all aluminum reflective optical system was tested to evaluate its optical performances at near liquid nitrogen temperature, and the test results showed that there was little differences between the wavefront errors before and after the optical system is cooled.
