Journal ArticleDOI

Industrial alkali lignin-derived biochar as highly efficient and low-cost adsorption material for Pb(II) from aquatic environment.

TL;DR: Alkali-lignin derived biochar is a promising material for the remediation of polluted by Pb(II), with a maximum adsorption capacity almost twice that of the former, and a much faster absorption rate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental and reduction leaching kinetics simulation of iron-rich manganese oxide ore using tobacco stem concrete as reducing agent

TL;DR: In this article, the feasibility of using waste tobacco stem concrete as reducing agent was investigated with a view to determining the feasibility for reducing leaching of Mn from iron-rich manganese oxide ore, and the results indicated that the leaching processes of Fe and Mn were both dominated by internal diffusion, but the effects of leaching parameters on leaching ratios of Fe or Mn were different based on established leaching kinetic equations.
