A flood control device (200) which measures the volume of fluid delivered in a continuous steady flow to a house or building and which shuts off the fluid flow if a preset maximum limit is reached, indicating overly high consumption due to a leak, break or open faucet in the plumbing of the housing of building.

An object of the present invention is to perform a suitable registration of a flow rate of appliances to promote the optimization of a usage time limitation function. In a gas shut-off device according to the invention, a flow rate detection unit measures a flow rate, a flow rate calculation unit calculates values of instant flow rates from a detection value, an average flow rate calculation unit obtains an average flow rate from the obtained instant flow rates, a flow rate change decision unit decides the presence or absence of a change in the flow rate based on the obtained average flow rate, a flow rate storage unit stores a value of the obtained average flow rate, an increase flow rate registration unit registers an amount of the flow rate change at the time of increase change decision by the flow rate change decision unit, a decrease flow rate re-registration unit reduces the registered flow rate near an amount of the flow rate change at the time of decrease change decision by the flow rate change decision unit, and re-registers and replaces it with a value of the average flow rate obtained by the average flow rate calculation unit after the reduction of the registered flow rate, and a shut-off unit shuts off the supply of gas when decided as an abnormality by an abnormality decision unit from the registered flow rate and a decision value.

Gas shut-off device

Use limit function of an appliance having a variable quantity of gas used is secured adequately. The gas cut-off device comprises a flow rate detection means (10), a flow rate operating means (11), an average flow rate operating means (12), a means (13) for storing the average flow rate value, a means (14) for judging variation in flow rate, a flow rate registration means (15) for registering variation in flow rate or deleting a registered flow rate close to the variation in flow rate when the flow rate variation judging means (14) judges increment or decrement of variation, a flow rate storage means (16), a flow rate variation correction storage means (17) for judging whether the total registered flow rate deleted in the past and the average flow rate fall within a predetermined range when the flow rate variation judging means judges a variation and only the maximum flow rate is registered, a judgment period means (18) for deleting the flow rate in the storage means and the registered flow rate when a judgment is made that the flow rate has not varied for a predetermined period and registering them again, a monitor value storage means (19), a means (20) for judging whether an abnormality exists or not by comparing the flow rate of the flow rate registration means with the judgment value of the monitor value storage means, and a use time correction means (22) for outputting a correction signal when the judgment period means performs registration again.

Gas cut-off device

A control module can include in at least one implementation an electronically actuated water control valve configured to shut off water flow through a water pipe, an electronic flow sensor configured to measure the flow of water through the water pipe, a temperature sensor configured to report water temperature, a water quality sensor, and a processing unit in communication with the electronically actuated water valve and the electronic flow sensor. The processing unit can be further configured to identify irregularities in the flow of the water through the water pipe, and in response to the identified irregularities, shut off the water flow through the water pipe.

Intelligent electronic water flow regulation system

To provide a tail lamp structure wherein a height in an upward and downward direction can be reduced to achieve miniaturization thereof. A tail lamp structure is equipped at a rear portion of a motorcycle. A board on which a stop lamp LED and a tail lamp LED are mounted in a spaced relationship from each other forwardly and backwardly is disposed in the forward and backward direction of the vehicle. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation speed and apparatus discrimination accuracy, while reducing a necessary memory amount or the like, concerning an apparatus discrimination technology. SOLUTION: In a gas meter 100, an ultrasonic flowmeter 104 measures the flow rate of gas flowing in a channel 102 at fixed time intervals, and a differential value at every fixed time of the measured flow rate is operated by an operation part 108. A differential value conversion part 112 converts the operated differential value into a cord based on a flow rate classification table 110a wherein each classification of a plurality of differential values corresponding to the magnitude of each differential value is correlated with a cord showing each classification. A cord string generation part 114 generates a measuring cord string based on a cord assembly at every fixed time, and an apparatus discrimination part 116 compares the measuring cord string with an apparatus proper cord string showing a proper cord string of each gas apparatus, to thereby discriminates a gas apparatus using gas. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an appliance under use as a gas table, by detecting a stable flow rate after detecting the start of the appliance, based on a control event caused by an increase and decrease of a gas flow rate, and by detecting the prescribed frequency of generation of a different stable flow rate within a prescribed time. SOLUTION: This flow measuring instrument is provided with a flow measuring means 3 connected to a domestic gas supply pipe and for measuring the gas flow rate at a fixed interval, a computing means 6 for finding a flow rate value output from the flow measuring means, a storage means 7 for storing a comparison determination value for judging an operation state of the appliance, a determination means 8 for determining the start-up, control and stop operations for the used gas appliance, a flow stabilization judging means 12 for judging whether the flow rate measured by the flow measuring means is stabilized or not, a limit timer means 11 for counting the lapse of the prescribed time from the start-up of the appliance, a stable flow rate counting means 14 for counting the detection frequency of the different stable flow rate, and a cooking range determination means 15 for determining the appliance as a cooking range, when the stable flow rate counting means detects the prescribed frequency or more of stable flow rate in a counting period of the limit timer means. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operation speed and appliance determination accuracy while decreasing the required quantity of memories in an appliance determination technique. SOLUTION: As to a gas meter 100 which is a flow measuring instrument, an ultrasonic flowmeter 104 is used to measure the flow amount of gas flowing through a flow path 102 at fixed time intervals while an operation part 108 is used to operate difference values of the measured flow amount at regular time intervals. A difference value conversion part 112 converts the operated difference values into codes based on a flow division table 11a in which a plurality of divisions of difference values corresponding to the sizes of the difference values are associated with codes representing the respective divisions. Further, a code row generation part 114 generates measurement code rows based on sets of codes at regular time intervals while an appliance determination part 116 determines a gas appliance using gas based on patterns repetitively taking place in the code rows. SOLUTION: A gas security device 10 includes an apparatus discrimination part 14 for performing apparatus discrimination from a gas flow rate measured by a flow measuring part 11 and its flow rate change characteristic, the first security function part 13 for performing security processing according to elapse of a using time set in each flow rate section, the second security function part 15 for performing security processing according to elapse of a using time set in each apparatus by using apparatus discrimination results, a flow rate change determination part 19 for determining existence of a flow rate change over a prescribed value, a cutoff valve 17 for performing a security processing, and an announcement part 18. When a specific apparatus is discriminated, the flow rate change determination part 19 changes a little a threshold for flow rate change determination, and when a flow rate change is determined by the flow rate change determination part 19, the first security function part 13 and the second security function part 15 reset count of the using time.
