TL;DR: In this paper, the interaction of n -butanal with a Zn-Cr-O catalyst has been studied by temperature-programmed reaction, and a large number of desorption products were identified, including 1-butanol, C 8 and C 12 aldehydes, C 7 and C 8 ketones, and C 3, C 4, and C 7 olefins, as well as CO 2, dienes, trienes, aromatics, and light hydrocarbons.

TL;DR: In this article, a simple method for determining desorption kinetic parameters in temperature programmed desion experiments from homogeneous surfaces has been proposed, which does not involve approximations, requires a single TPD trace, and is scarcely sensitive to experimental errors.
