Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of 8-methylquinoline and benzo[h]quinoline complexes of palladium(II) with those of related ligands. Crystal and molecular structure of aqua(benzo[h]quinoline)[2-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl-N]palladium(II) perchlorate

TL;DR: Benzo[h]quinoline (bquin) does not cleave the chloride bridge of [{Pd(dmp)Cl}2][dmp = 2-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl-N] as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coordination, oligomerisation and transfer hydrogenation of acetylenes by some ruthenium and osmium carboxylates: Crystal and molecular structures of bis(trifluoroacetato)carbonyl-(methanol) bis(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium(II) and (1,4-diphenylbut-1-en-3-yn-2-yl)trifluoroacetato-(carbonyl) bis(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium(II)

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the coordinated methanol is involved in H-bonding with the monodentate trifluoroacetate ligand and showed that the coordination of the methanoline-adduct intermediate has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coordination, Oligomerisation and Transfer Hydrogenation of Acetylenes by Some Ruthenium and Osmium Carboxylato Complexes: Crystal and Molecular Structure of (1,4-Diphenylbut-1-en-3-yn-2-yl)trifluoroacetato(carbonyl) bis(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium(II)

TL;DR: The complexes (MH(O2CCF3) (CO) (PPh3)2] and M(O 2CCF 3 (CO)(PPh 3) 2] (M = Ru or Os) react with terminal and internal acetylenes to afford oligomerization and hydrogenation products, respectively, together with vinylic complexes, including the ruthenium species [Ru(C4HPh2), including the R1,4-diphenylbut-1-en-3-yn-2-yl ligand RE

Discrete oxidation states and X-ray crystal structure of the trinuclear manganese carboxylate [Mn3(3-ClC5H4N)3O(O2CMe)6]

TL;DR: The antiferromagnetic MnII,III,III complex [Mn3(3-Clpy)3O(O2CMe)6], prepared by the reaction of 3-chloropyridine with [mn(H2O)2(O 2 CMe)3], possesses a molecular structure, determined by X-ray methods, in which a manganese(II) atom can be clearly distinguished from two manganes(III) atoms as mentioned in this paper.
