Nitroxides: applications in synthesis and in polymer chemistry.
Ludger Tebben,Armido Studer +1 more
TL;DR: Alkoxyamines derived from nitroxides are shown to be highly useful precursors of C-centered radicals in synthesis and also in polymer chemistry, and new developments in the synthesis of complex polymer architectures are highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nitroxide: Anwendungen in der Synthese und in der Polymerchemie
Ludger Tebben,Armido Studer +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, aufsatz werden zunachst Methoden zur Herstellung von Nitroxide and deren physikalische Eigenschaften besprochen.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reactions of Arynes with Nitrosoarenes—An Approach to Substituted Carbazoles
TL;DR: The development of transition-metal-free protocols for preparation of carbazoles are regarded as important because of the importance of this substance class in materials science and biological studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enantioselective cyclopropanation of enals by oxidative N-heterocyclic carbene catalysis
TL;DR: Carbene catalysed redox activation of α,β-unsaturated aldehydes is applied and good to excellent diastereo and enantioselectivities are obtained with chiral carbenes.
Journal ArticleDOI
From Additivity to Cooperativity in Chemistry: Can Cooperativity Be Measured?
TL;DR: It is suggested that, at least for simpler systems that can be described at the molecular level, cooperativity can be defined based on energy considerations, and for systems in which no chemical transformation occurs, determination of interaction energies of the whole system with respect to the interaction energies between all individual component pairs (subsystems) will allow determination of cooperativity.
