Phenanthrenes and bibenzyls from a Plagiochila species

TL;DR: In this article, 19 phenolic compounds consisting of 9,10-dihydrophenanthrenes, a phenanthrene, bibenzyls, and bis bibensyls were isolated from a neotropical Plagiochila species.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sesquiterpene lactones and 3-benzylphthalides from Frullania muscicola☆

TL;DR: Among the sesquiterpenes from Frullania muscicola two new cis-annelated 12,6-eudesmanolides, a new 12, 6-eremophilide and two new dimeric eudesmane sesQUiterpene lactones were identified in addition to three known eudesmansolides and the SESQUERPene alcohol drimenol as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phytochemical and morphological support for the existence of two species in Monoclea ( Hepaticae )

TL;DR: The exclusive occurrence inMonoclea of glucuronide and galacturonide flavone glycosides and the fact that capsule dehiscence may take place before full elongation of the seta are new arguments in support of the placement of Monocleales in the Marchantiidae.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carboxylated α-pyrone derivatives and flavonoids from the liverwort Dumortiera hirsuta

TL;DR: In this article, three carboxylated α-pyrone derivatives, dumortins A-C, and a new flavone glycoside have been isolated from the liverwort Dumortiera hirsuta, together with the known flavonoids, luteolin, lutesolin -5-O-β-d -glucuronide and lutesin -7-O -β- d -gluronide.
Journal ArticleDOI

Acylated flavone and glycerol glucosides from two Frullania species

TL;DR: In this paper, eight new compounds were identified from Frullania muscicola; five flavone O-glycosides with 3-hydroxy-3-methyl glutaric acid and three glycerol glucosides acylated with caffeic acid.
