Influence of machining parameters on the surface integrity in electrical discharge machining

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of machining parameters on the surface integrity in electrical discharge machining has been studied and the results of the tests undertaken in this study show that increasing energy discharge increase instability and therefore, the quality of the workpiece surface becomes rougher and the white layer thickness increases due to more melting and recasting of material.
Journal Article

Influence of workpiece inclination angle on the surface roughness in ball end milling of the titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V

TL;DR: In this article, a mathematical model of surface roughness in end-milling of the titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V was developed by using the experimental design methodology.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of the surface roughness in ball end milling of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V using the Taguchi Method

TL;DR: In this article, the authors applied the Taguchi method to find optimum process parameters in ball end milling of the titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V with an inclined workpiece angle of 25°.
