CFD analysis on heat and flow characteristics of double helically coiled tube heat exchanger handling MWCNT/water nanofluids

TL;DR: In this investigation, the heat transfer and pressure drop of the double helically coiled heat exchanger handling MWCNT/water nanofluids have been analyzed by the computational software ANSYS 14.5 and it is found that the simulation data hold good agreement with the experimental data.
Journal ArticleDOI

A review on helically coiled tube heat exchanger using nanofluids

TL;DR: In this article, the research findings and observations made by different research groups on helically coiled tube heat exchanger using nanofluid as a working medium are reviewed and the conclusions of different authors and they are differences of opinions are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heat transfer and friction factor analysis of MWCNT nanofluids in double helically coiled tube heat exchanger

TL;DR: In this paper, a double helically coiled tube heat exchanger was used to determine the convective heat transfer rate and friction factor with the help of a double-helion coiled tubes (DHTC) by handling multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT)/water-based nanofluids as a cooling medium.
