The goal of this study is to widen and deepen certain aspects related to the reproductive health of rural Native American women of Mapuche and Tehuelche origin, and its relationship with their social and cultural environment. Along these lines, we study how the cultures considered as a system of values, beliefs, patterns of behaviour and ways of life, fixed in material structures influence conscious and unconscious decisions leading to a reproductive behaviour.
