Kinetic study of ferrocolumbite dissolution in hydrofluoric acid medium

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the degradation of ferrocolumbite with hydrofluoric acid solutions in a pressure reactor and found that the leaching rate of the mineral increases with the concentration of acid and the reaction temperature but is not affected very much by stirring speed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of Nb, Ta, Fe and Mn by X-ray fluorescence

TL;DR: In this article, an analytical methodology was developed for the quantification of niobium, tantalum, iron and manganese in samples of ores and solid residues coming from ore pressure leaching, using different acids.

Optimization of the leaching conditions of an autoclave: Application to the dissolution of ferrocolumbite from san luis province, Argentina

TL;DR: In this paper, the optimum working conditions of a Parr laboratory autoclave for minerals dissolution were studied and the results obtained were applied to the leaching with HF of a Nb and Ta mineral, from the San Luis, Argentina.
