Journal ArticleDOI

Some Experiments on Precision Lens Centring and Mounting

TL;DR: In this paper, the lens cells were assembled in plain diamond turned barrels and the symmetry was improved by an order of magnitude over results previously reported, and the results were shown to be consistent with the results reported in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experiments with Lens Optimization Procedures

TL;DR: In this article, the results of these experiments demonstrate the efficiency of the damped least squares method and damping the least squares equations and controlling the boundary conditions are also described and some experiments on these are given.
