Infrared Studies of the Mechanism of Methanol Decomposition on Cu/SiO2

TL;DR: In this paper, a mechanism for methanol decomposition was proposed based on the sequence of species observed during temperature-programmed infrared (TPD-LR) experiments, and simulations of the TPD-IR experiments provided an accurate representation of the observed variations in the concentrations of adsorbed species.
Journal ArticleDOI

Temperature-Programmed Desorption Studies of the Interactions of H2, CO, and CO2 with Cu/SiO2

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used temperature-programmed desorption spectroscopy to investigate the interaction of H2, CO, and CO2 with a Cu/SiO2 catalyst.
