Temperature and thickness dependence of low temperature transport in amorphous silicon thin films: A comparison to amorphous germanium

TL;DR: In this paper, the temperature and thickness dependence of low temperature electrical transport of amorphous silicon thin films measured in-situ in ultra-high vacuum are presented, and an extended range of ln ϱ ∝ T − 1 4 for thin films with S 2 ∝ d − 1 3 as expected from a variable range tunneling mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for correlated hopping in impurity conduction at moderate impurity concentrations

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present evidence that correlated multi-electron hopping makes important contributions to conductivity in impurity conduction in n- and p-Ge. The evidence is based on the behavior of the pre-exponential with concentration and with magnetic field.
Journal ArticleDOI

The absence of a measurable hall effect in the superionic conductor RbAg4I5

TL;DR: In this article, the Hall effect of RbAg4I5 was shown to be less than 2 × 10-3 cm2/V·sec, and the authors concluded that the Hall mobility of silver ions in this material is less than two × 10 − 3 cm 2/V ·sec.
