TL;DR: The INDRA detector as discussed by the authors is a highly segmented detector for light charged particles and fragments, which covers geometrically 90% of the 4π solid angle and has very low detection thresholds.
Journal ArticleDOI
An insulating grid spacer for large-area MICROMEGAS chambers
D. Bernard,H. Delagrange,David D'Enterria,M. Le Guay,German Martinez,M.J. Mora,P. Pichot,Daniel Roy,Yves Roland Schutz,Apparao Gandi,R. De Oliveira +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an insulating grid, sandwiched between the micro-mesh and the anode-pad plane, is proposed for large-area gaseous detectors based on the MICROMEGAS technology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two large-area anode-pad MICROMEGAS chambers as the basic elements of a pre-shower detector
Laurent Bernard Aphecetche,H. Delagrange,David D'Enterria,M. Le Guay,X. Li,German Martinez,M.J. Mora,P. Pichot,Debarati Roy,Yves Roland Schutz +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the design of a pre-shower detector based on MICROMEGAS (MICRO MEsh GAseous Structure) technology is presented, which is characterized by a large active area of 398×281 mm 2, a pad readout with 20×22 mm 2 segmentation, and an uniform amplification gap obtained by insulating spacers (100 μm high and 200 μm in diameter).

TL;DR: In this paper, the design of a pre-shower detector based on MICROMEGAS (MICRO MEsh GAseous Structure) technology is presented, which is characterized by a large active area of 398(times)281 mm(2) and a pad read-out with 20 (times)22 mm( 2 ) segmentation, and an uniform amplification gap obtained by insulating spacers.
