A system for forming concrete structural elements including a plurality of runners forming a spaced array; a plurality of supports extending upwardly from and connecting intersecting runners; and a plurality of coffer plates secured in position over the supports by a plurality of anchor nuts capable of interacting with the concrete poured to form the structural element. The coffer plates initially act as a mold for the structural element being formed. Thereafter, the array of runners and supports are used to suspend finishing components (plumbing lines, electrical conduit, electrical wiring and fixtures, ceilings, non-load-bearing walls, etc.) from the structural element without requiring alteration of the concrete forming the structural element.

The present invention is concerned with a lost mould element for manufacturing conventional reinforced concrete flat slabs, which is intended, when used together with others mould elements for creating voids and for allowing the moulding of beams, characterised in that the said mould element (6, 9, 26, 29) is made of recycled plastic material, having the shape of a hollow box, substantially of flat prismatic shape, preferably, rectangular or square, which is formed from to half boxes, an upper one (9, 29) and a lower one (6, 26), joined together removably, each mould element has sides or lateral walls with profiles which define together with others sides or lateral walls of the others mould elements, 'I' profiled channels or 'I' degenerated profiled channels for moulding beams, and between the sides or lateral walls are arranged steel rod attachment and distribution supports (5, 5a; 25, 25A) for securing the steel rods (4; 24), for reinforcement of said 'I' or 'I' degenerated profiled beams (12; 32). The mould elements of the present invention can be used in building industry.

Lost mould element for manufacturing reinforced concrete flat slabs

Embedment-type mould element of plastic material for manufacturing slab structures to be used in building constructions, comprising at least a downward-open hollow body (11) provided with feet (14) on the lower edge thereof. Each hollow body is in the shape of a frustum of a pyramid with the vertex directed upwards, and is provided with grooved pilaster strips (12), in particular in correspondence of the corners thereof, and a plurality of relieves (18) on the upper surface (15) thereof. The new mould element is much lighter than prior-art ones and can be produced as a single-piece moulding of recycled plastics, so as to reduce manufacturing and installation costs.

Embedment-type mould for manufacturing building slab structures

In an element for use in making a reinforced concrete structure of substantially planar shape and of the kind comprising: a) at least a lower reinforcing mesh consisting of mutually crossing reinforcing rods (1, 2) rigidly secured to each other, and b) a number of spaced filler bodies (3) of substantially identical shape and size cooperating with said lower mesh (1, 2) so as to locate them in a regular pattern corresponding to the pattern of said lower mesh (1, 2); the main novel feature is that said filler bodies (3) interengage (14) with said lower mesh (1, 2) so as to form a rigid body. With this arrangement, most of the work requiring precision and the use of specialized equipment can be done in a factory or workshop, while maintaining the advantages of using spaced filler bodies cooperating with the reinforcing mesh to provide cavities in the finished structure. The filler bodies (3) are preferably hollow for reasons of weight and economy, and comprise flanges (8) cooperating with each other to form a lower shuttering. Preferably also, an upper reinforcing mesh (1a, 2a) is used, further increasing the rigidity of the element.

A metal "U" shape channel form is used to form a concrete beam, and has two laterally opposed outwardly extending horizontally disposed flanges with two supporting areas arranged in a stepped fashion for selectively supporting a metal deck or both a metal deck and plywood between the span of adjacently arranged channel forms used to form a slab therebetween, which slab may be composite in that the formed slab integrally includes a metal deck. A "U" shape shoring head of complementary shape to the channel form is mounted on a shoring frame to hold the channel form in place for the pouring of the concrete, and a shoring head can be used with a structural member arranged to support the metal deck of variable spans for slabs of variable dimensions in the available space.

Concrete slab-beam form system for composite metal deck concrete construction

A structural two-way truss slab of egg-crate form is provided with manufactured pans that have openings in the sidewalls thereof with interconnecting members between the openings. The arrangement is such that the pan can remain in place and thus provide a finished ceiling effect. The system further provides an ability to run air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing and other conduits through the slab itself after the slab has been poured. The slab is structurally equivalent to conventional two-way slabs but is of less gross weight.
