TL;DR: In this article, a comparative analysis of insider trading regulation in the United States and other developed markets is presented, and it is shown that while the U.S. insider trading regimen is less stringent than that of many other developed countries, the United states' markets remain preeminent largely due to the relatively effective enforcement of the prevailing statutory and regulatory mandates.
