A method for cleaning waste particles from the die surfaces of a die press includes providing a blank of material with adhesive layers on both surfaces of the blank; conforming the blank to have a shape corresponding to at least one of the die surface of the die press for contacting at least one of the adhesive layers with waste particles on the die surfaces and thereafter removing the blank from the die surface to separate waste particles therefrom. Apparatus for practicing the method includes a die press with opposed die and tooling components and a press ram for positioning the die and tooling components in a cleaning gap relationship; the press is periodically positioned to receive the blank with cleaning medium thereon in the press throat where the blank covers the press dies to trap waste particles on the surface of the dies during normal press operations and for removing such waste particles when the blank is removed from the press. A cleaning medium for practicing the method includes a blank of material with opposed surfaces each covered by a layer of adhesive, removes waste particles when the dies of the stamping press are moved into a cleaning gap relationship.

The invention discloses a forging mold releasing agent spraying device which consists of a speed-reducing motor, a stirring tank, a spray gun, a motor shaft, a stirring blade and a pressure sealing cover. The speed-reducing motor is fixedly connected with the stirring blade through the motor shaft, the pressure sealing cover is fixed on an upper end port of the stirring tank, the pressure sealing cover is provided with a feeding port, an air inlet pipe, an air outlet pipe and a liquid outlet pipe, compressed air is led into the air inlet pipe, one end of the air outlet pipe and one end of the liquid outlet pipe are communicated with the stirring tank, and the other end of the air outlet pipe and the other end of the liquid outlet pipe are communicated with the spray gun. By means of the technical scheme, the speed-reducing motor drives the stirring blade to enable liquid in the stirring tank body to be in an evenly-mixed suspended state. In addition, the compressed air is utilized to clean a die cavity and spray a mold releasing agent, the forge piece quality is improved through cleaning of the die cavity, the mold releasing agent is atomized, the spraying efficiency and uniformity are improved, the cost is saved, the spraying effect is good, and the service life of a die is prolonged.

Forging mold releasing agent spraying device

The invention relates to a spraying system for aluminum hub forging and pressing dies. The spraying system for the aluminum hub forging and pressing dies comprises a liquid graphite storage tank, a liquid graphite high-pressure conveying unit, a rotary spraying machine, a manipulator and a hub cooling and elevating system. The liquid graphite storage tank is connected with the rotary spraying machine through the liquid graphite high-pressure conveying unit. The manipulator is used for picking up the rotary spraying machine from a storage rack installed on a stand column of a forging press to carry out spraying on the upper hub die and the lower hub die, and then placing the rotary spraying machine back onto the storage rack. The hub cooling and elevating system is installed beside the forging press. Conveyor rollers are installed beside the hub cooling and elevating system, and hubs are conveyed on the conveyor rollers. The spraying system achieves directed and quantitative atomized spraying on the surfaces of the dies, a uniform spraying film can be formed on the surface of each die, and the situation that the surfaces of dies adhere to hot metal in the forging and pressing process and consequently the surfaces are damaged is avoided. The spraying system can complete quenching of the hubs.

Spraying system for aluminum hub forging and pressing dies

A press (1) is equipped with an upper die (3) and lower die (5), three proximity detectors (A, B, C) an air driven greasing nozzle (12) for lubricating the upper die and a second greaser (11) for the lower die. There is also an air pistol (10) directed at the lower die. Electrical timing circuits are provided so that when the blank has been fully stamped the air nozzle is switched on for a predetermined time, followed by greasing of the bottom die. The upper die is then raised passed the middle detector (B) and is then greased. The blank is then inserted and the stamping begun again.
