TL;DR: In this paper, the emission properties and decay kinetics of Cs 4 PbCl 6 single crystals are reported for the first time and the emission band peaking at 355nm is attributed to the emission of Pb 2+ cationic excitons, while the low temperature emission at 414nm is ascribed to the CsPbCl 3 -like phase in the crystal.
