X-Sizer for Thrombectomy in Acute Myocardial Infarction Improves ST-Segment Resolution: Results of the X-Sizer in AMI for Negligible Embolization and Optimal ST Resolution (X AMINE ST) Trial
Thierry Lefèvre,Eulegio Garcia,Bernhard Reimers,Iréne Lang,Carlo Di Mario,Antonio Colombo,Franz-Joseph Neumann,Mariano Valdés Chávarri,Philippe Brunel,Eberhart Grube,Martin Thomas,Bernard Glatt,Joseph Ludwig,X Amine St Investigators +13 more
TL;DR: Reducing thrombus burden with X-Sizer before stenting leads to better myocardial reperfusion, as illustrated by a reduced risk of distal embolization and better ST-segment resolution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Usefulness of real-time three-dimensional transoesophageal echocardiography in the assessment of chronic aortic dissection.
Artur Evangelista,Rio Aguilar,Hug Cuéllar,Martin Thomas,Ana Laynez,José Rodríguez-Palomares,Patricia Mahía,Teresa González-Alujas,David Garcia-Dorado +8 more
TL;DR: Three-dimensional TOE permits better morphological and dynamic understanding of aortic dissection when the flap is spiroidal, and provides additional information to 2D-TOE in aorti dissection assessment, particularly in entry tear size quantification.
